What is the attire?
For your safety and comfort, closed-toe shoes are required at The Delco Axe House. We recommend wearing a shirt that allows for a full range of motion with your arms to ensure an optimal throwing experience.
Can I really throw an axe? REALLY?
Absolutely! Axe throwing is a skill that can be mastered by anyone, regardless of size or strength. Once you land your first bullseye, you’ll be hooked on this exhilarating activity!
How often do you replace the wood targets?
At The Delco Axe House, we take pride in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards. Depending on the level of activity, some target boards may need to be replaced daily. Rest assured, our team conducts thorough inspections each day to ensure all targets are in prime condition and ready to withstand your axe-throwing prowess!
I’ve never thrown an axe before. Will there be someone to instruct me?
Absolutely! Our experienced and certified Axe Coaches will be with you every step of the way. They’ll provide comprehensive instructions, guidance, and ensure you have a safe and enjoyable axe-throwing experience. If you have an Axe-cellent time, feel free to show your appreciation by tipping your Coach – it’s greatly appreciated!
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes, a signed waiver is required for all participants and spectators at The Delco Axe House. Safety is our top priority, and this measure ensures that everyone understands and acknowledges the inherent risks involved in axe throwing.
Do you have food/drinks available for purchase?
At this time, The Delco Axe House operates under a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) and BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) policy. We encourage you to pack your favorite beverages and snacks to enjoy during your axe-throwing session.
Is there a cancellation policy?
We understand that plans may change. At The Delco Axe House, you can reschedule your booking with at least 24 hours’ notice without any additional fees. However, same-day cancellations are subject to a full-price cancellation fee.
Is it safe?
Safety is our number one priority at The Delco Axe House. Our facility is designed with multiple safety measures in place, including individual throwing lanes separated by sturdy barriers and a dedicated throwing area to maintain a safe distance between participants and targets. Our Axe Coaches will ensure that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to throughout your visit.
Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
For group events, we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. However, we do offer walk-in throwing sessions throughout the week, subject to availability. Please check our schedule for the most up-to-date information. Our facility is open for group bookings 6 or 7 days a week, depending on the location, and we also offer corporate event packages.
Can I bring my own axe?
For safety reasons, only axes supplied by The Delco Axe House are permitted for use in our facility.
Who can participate?
Anyone aged 13 and up is welcome to participate in axe throwing at The Delco Axe House. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Our facility is also wheelchair accessible to accommodate participants with mobility needs.
Please note that participants with any medical conditions and/or pregnant individuals should obtain medical clearance from their physician prior to participating in axe throwing activities.
